Stella is a voice of remembrance. An African-born, Cameroon-raised and Philadelphia-bred singer-songwriter, Stella’s artistry is rooted in the intersection of soul, spirituality, and the African diaspora. Growing up in Philadelphia exposed her to the richness of hip-hop, R&B, neo-soul, and jazz—sounds that would become foundational to her musical identity and shape her approach to storytelling.

A self-taught pianist inspired by artists such as nina simone and Alicia Keys, Stella has developed a sound that moves effortlessly between neo-soul, R&B, Afrobeats, and intimate piano-driven ballads. Her music is both deeply personal and expansive, exploring love, identity, healing, consciousness, and the journey of remembering who we are beneath everything we have been taught to be.

For Stella, music is more than performance—it is a spiritual practice. Deeply connected to African spirituality, ancestral veneration, mindfulness, and the wisdom carried through generations, she creates from a place of reflection and intention. Her artistry seeks to bridge the seen and unseen, inviting listeners to slow down, become present, and reconnect with themselves.

Her debut EP, “The Journey” (2022), marked the beginning of a musical and spiritual exploration that continues to unfold. Her sophomore EP, “Remembering”, expands that journey, drawing listeners further inward while celebrating the beauty of awakening, self-discovery, and returning to one's essence.

Whether accompanied by a piano, carried by the rhythm of Afrobeats, or surrounded by the warmth of live musicians, Stella commands the stage with an intimate yet powerful presence. Her performances create space for both movement and stillness—allowing audiences not simply to hear the music, but to feel it.

As Stella continues to evolve as an artist, she remains committed to creating music that inspires consciousness, honors her roots, and serves as a reminder: you already are who you have been searching for.
